President’s Message from BEV MARTEL, CPA-PCA President
Hello CPA Members,
Dan and I had the privilege of attending the Zone 2 PCA meeting in Harrisonburg VA. (Beware of speed cameras!) It was a nice overnight trip that allowed us to meet with like minded Porsche Club Presidents. We discussed what their clubs were doing plus what was happening at National PCA.
One of the regions is really trying to grow their Junior Club, which in turn is an attraction to the parents of the kids. Another is big into Club racing, while another is doing social events. Our club is well rounded with many options, reaching a wide variety of members. We are doing an excellent job for many.
We received a report on the 6th Annual Boardwalk Reunion, which is a combined Zone 1 and 2 event. It’s a major event and continues to grow every year. The date is Oct. 18, 2025. For more info go to boardwalkreunion.org
PCA is celebrating its 70th birthday on Sept 13, 2025. Central PA Region is planning to celebrate its 60th Anniversary on October 11, 2025. Keep watching for more information.
